Three months after Sage Hannigan time warps a hundred years into the past and saves the future, she is still trying to come to grips with all the she has gained… and all that she has lost.
All of her searching hasn't turned up the Cerberus Society or any creatures of the night, and she's beginning to wonder if she's gone crazy after all. The only things keeping her grounded are her sparring sessions with Matt and her weekly ritual of scouring the city for lowlifes to kick the crap out of, and even that can't keep her dreams free of the heartache and bittersweet memories she has come to loathe and… to cherish.
When blasts from the past—good, bad, and evil—come knocking on her door, will she be able to do what she has to even if it means having her barely healing heart ripped to shreds?

After I read Fated, I decided that I absolutely needed the next book and so I purchased it. Now here I am, after a storm of emotions I didn't see coming, and all I can say is, "Why Sage? WHY!"I don't know why Sage's choices keep surprising me. They also infuriate me, but that's beside the point. What I've concluded after reading this book is that Sage follows her heart completely, and that often times lands her in a hot mess. You know, jumping from the pan right into the fire.
I had issues with Sage. I mean, yeah, at first I was okay with Soren, but as soon as Aldwin was back in the picture, I immediately resumed holding my #TeamAldwin poster with a bunch of hearts drawn on it. This is where I was really debating with myself because for one, I was happy because #SageAndAldwinForeverandEver could become a thing again, but a part of me had doubts. This is because Sage is very confused in her emotions and I don't like it when characters don't know what they are feeling (probably because they tend to stay away from what I want them to do!).
We do see more of Soren in this book (no surprise there, he is immortal) and even though he is described as good looking and sexy, I can't help but picture him as an old man. What is wrong with me? This happened to me with another series by Ranae Glass. Am I forever cursed to picture male vampires as old, wrinkly men?!
I'll wrap this up by saying there are some sad feels in this book. I cried because what happened is something that I fear and something I have nightmares about. This is the only instance I'll say that I was glad Soren was with Sage because reliving something traumatizing like that is terrible.
My only complaint (I promise I'll be done after this) is that I do not feel connected to most of the secondary characters. I feel like these are throwaway characters, disposable, without any real importance. I would like to get to know them and their stories, but we are not provided with many details about them.
Because of these things (and many other reasons I can't talk about) Undone gets 4 Platypires!

Time Warper Undone A Sage Hannigan Novel Book 2 eBook Peggy Martinez Reviews
Excellent storyline! I've read all three in the series. My only complaint is it seems like quite a few situations or thoughts don't get explained in all three of the books.
I am so enthralled with Sage and her friends! The story flows so smoothly and it has so many unexpected twists and turns, it kept me turning the pages all the way until dawn! Love this series!
Lots of craziness happens in this one. And I absolutely loved the twists and turns this took. I got excited to see Sage grow into a badass. And will be grabbing the next one now!
This book was amazing. It blended smoothly with the last book. I'm excited to see where this story goes. This book filled in a lot of blanks about Sage's life, her powers, her family, and what happened after she left 1904. It was very moving and I freely admit to tearing up.
Sage woke up in her own bed in 2004, alone and devasted with the loss of those she cared about. Trying to pick up the pieces, she tries to hunt down present day members of Cerberus, and vampires to beat down. Mostly she just takes out the local thugs and criminals. Until she gets a job as bouncer at Club Strange and discovers that it's owned by a vampire. A Mr. Soren Black, formally known as Sir Blackstone!! People from the past start popping out of the woodwork, sage doesn't know who she loves, who to trust, or what to do with her expanding powers. The past and present collide and she finds out that ever event has a purpose and it's preparing her to save the world.
Time Warper Undone (A Sage Hannigan Novel Book 2) by Peggy Martinez, is the sequel that you cannot wait to read after you finished the first book in the series. It takes place three months after the first book ended. Trouble seems to have a way of finding my favorite heroine Sage Hannigan.
Like the first book, this one took me on another rollercoaster of emotions. I cried, screamed, laughed, and cried some more throughout of this whole book. Please note that was before the ending of the book. Sage really went through the drama in this book. The characters that Peggy Martinez created will resonate with you long after you put down the book or turn off the . You will run the gauntlet of emotions as I did and you will be better off for it. Trust me on this. You have to read this series.
As for being torn between my two loves from the first book, I still cannot choose between my beloved Aldwin and Soren. The sequel gives you more insight on Aldwin and you get glimpses of delicious Soren. This is the type of love triangle that will wreck a friendship and make you question everything in life. I definitely recommend this book to others. Once again I give it 5/5 Platypires.
So it popped up in my feed the other day that Undone, the second book in the Time Warper series, was released. I one clicked without hesitation.
If I thought the first one was awesome, I don't know how to describe this one. I started it after I'd finished the Twilight gender swap story and only intended to read for about an hour or so, because it was late and I love my sleep. Apparently, I don't love my sleep as much as reading this book. Four hours, some tears, and a bunch of cursing at Sage and Aldwin, and it was over. The ending of course sets up the troubles for the next book (which I've already preordered), and I'm excited for it as well.
Soren, oh mah gawd Soren. I adore him. I wish he was real. I'm really glad he had a much bigger role in this book compared to the first one. He and Sage have a great dynamic.
5/5 Platypires from me! And can't freaking wait until Monday so I can read the next one.
